fetch Solutions “The Internet is the Future “eMarketing” Platform

Tim Cronin July 22, 2008

Hello, my name is Tim Cronin. I have been in the electronics components industry for the last 35 years. Before me was my father T.X Cronin, who was the President of Cramer Electronics (Cramer was acquired by Arrow Electronics during the 1970’s). The industry has for many years cited my father as being one of three spokesmen for the components distribution industry. Along with T.X. were Seymour Schweber of Schweber Electronics, and Tony Hamilton of Hamilton-Avnet (Avnet Electronics). T.X; Tony Hamilton, and Seymour Schweber developed the supply-chain for the traditional “go-to-market-strategy” – which were product catalogs, feet on the street, customer service, and branch offices to support the different marketplaces.

One of Cramer’s “eMarketing” tools was the Cramer Electronics’ Buyers Guide. The Buyers Guide was a powerful tool to provide the engineers and buyers with a components catalog that was “chock-full-of-franchised component parts information”. This catalog would be updated annually and would be distributed by the “feet on the street” and by US Mail. Many people called it affectionately as the “Gospel of the components Industry”.
Today, our new company – “fetch Solutions” is offering to the electronic components industry a turn-key set of tools that are required to take full advantage of transacting “eBusiness” using the Internet sales-channel. With the Internet now being recognized as a significant alternative sales-channel, the only traditional tool required to buy and sell products over the Internet is the “e-Catalog” only. The other traditional tools are no longer required for Internet Sales. Therefore, the cost of transacting on the Internet is 30% - 40% less than the traditional “go-to-market” that it has been for the last 40 years. The program is what the CFO and the CMO will love which is: “Added Sales and Significant Profits” at your companies “Virtual Sales Division”.
fetch will provide you with our robust Internet ‘eMarketing’ platform in 6-8 weeks. The up-front cost for the platform is only a small hook-up fee. The majority of the revenue will be a “pay-as-you-go” program.
fetch would like to remind the components industry that the catalog distributors are transacting eBusiness today. DigiKey has recently announced that their Internet sales platform is processing over 60% of their orders electronically. “fetch will provide you with the tools to compete successfully with the Top-Tier catalog distributors, as well as to allow your company to compete successfully with the Top-Tier competitors. This is where the battle is going to be fought; the Internet is the future of “eMarketing” components.

All of us at fetch Solutions would love to hear from all the distributors, component manufacturers’, and manufacturers’ representatives that want us to build for them your Internet “eMarketing” Platform.
Thank You,
Tim Cronin
